At this year’s Light + Building, Casambi will present several new solutions that further expand its ecosystem and simplify the implementation of modern lighting projects. The new products will soon also be available through Exceedation.
Casambi is introducing four additions designed to make lighting projects easier to integrate, faster to commission and more intuitive to control. From our perspective as a partner working closely with lighting professionals and system integrators, these innovations further strengthen the flexibility and scalability of the Casambi platform for a wide range of applications.
KNX DALI Hybrid Gateway
A key highlight is the KNX DALI Hybrid Gateway, a compact professional gateway that enables seamless integration between KNX building automation and Casambi lighting networks. With this solution, KNX sensors and switches can directly control Casambi-enabled luminaires, while commissioning is conveniently carried out via the familiar KNX ETS software.
Room App
Another important addition is the Room App, a mobile application designed specifically for fast and structured commissioning of smaller, room-based lighting installations. Installers can configure luminaires, scenes, switches and sensors within minutes, making the setup process accessible even without deep Casambi expertise.
DGC-RC16 Room Controller
The DGC-RC16 Room Controller brings wired DALI luminaires into the Casambi ecosystem. It allows up to 16 DALI drivers to operate as a single synchronized lighting entity. This simplifies scene creation, scheduling and automation, particularly in projects where multiple luminaires need to function together as one coordinated lighting group.
O-Turn
Completing the new portfolio is O-Turn, a versatile wireless wall controller that combines four push buttons with a rotary knob. While the buttons can be used to trigger scenes or control groups, the rotary dial allows smooth dimming and colour adjustment. Available in both mains-powered and battery-powered versions, O-Turn offers a flexible and intuitive interface for modern lighting installations.
These new solutions will soon be available through Exceedation, further expanding the possibilities for smart, flexible lighting control in professional projects.
